450 Pounds of Seed Potatoes Planted!

This morning Paul, Yheva and I planted potatoes - a lot of them! We had a great morning rigging up a way to dig the potato trenches, and then we planted the year's supply of potatoes. The day was beautiful and the soil lovely. We hope our CSA members want potatoes!
The afternoon was spent spreading compost for our soon to be planted solenacea crops, as well as our raspberries and strawberries. This dry weather is certainly allowing us to get our field work done.
Tomorrow morning our wonderful intern, Aimee, and I will plant the high tunnel to tomatoes, basil, peppers and cucumbers.
I hope you enjoy these pictures of daffodils as much as we enjoy having them in our yard.
