CSA Starting, pleas respond!

Hello CSA Folks!

Well it's that time, the summer CSA will start Tuesday June 7th, or Friday June 10th depending on your pick-up day. Please email me back and let me know that you have received this email announcing the start dates. If you don't I will call you. We still have plenty of CSA shares for sale.

Please read the member handbook for all general questions about pick up times, switching days, etc before the first pick up day. The member handbook can be found on the farm website (link below) under the tab "handbook" at the top of the page.

We can't wait to see all of you! Things are actually growing out there and looking good. Next Monday I'll send out a list of everything that we will be harvesting for the first week. Paul built a sandbox this weekend near the distribution barn. We anticipate it getting plenty of kid use. We also bought a........ port-o-potty for the farm! Hurray!

One of your fellow CSA members, Flannery, has been planning a bunch of Sweet Land events. She and a couple of other members will be have a table set up for the first couple of distributions to talk about getting more involved with events at Sweet Land. Stop by if your are interested!

Wide Awake Bakery has plenty of shares left - they distribute their bread share here at the farm. Follow the link to sign up-
http://wideawakebakery.com/. This bread is amazing and it made from grain grown in Ithaca , then ground right here in Trumansburg. Talk about local.

High Point Farms, right up the road from us, has delicious pasture-raised meat CSA shares for sale as well. http://www.highpointfarms.net/. What a great place to be a locavore!

Ok, I'll email next week with the veggie forecast,
See you soon,
Evangeline
